Job Description
Location: Wigan Town Hall, Library Street, Wigan, WN1 1YN
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Temporary 12-month contract
Your role
You will be responsible for managing income from Temporary Accommodation placements for the Homelessness Solutions Team. This includes weekly collection of rental payments and other costs related to temporary and emergency accommodation. You will build rapport with customers, identify barriers to rent payments, and collaborate with Housing Benefit and Finance Teams to develop rent recovery models.
About you
You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience in housing or customer-focused environments, and a proactive attitude. Flexibility, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and accuracy are essential.
