Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Bank Chef to join the team at Sandalwood Court in Corby. You will be part of a team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, treating our service users as we would our own family members. Sandalwood Court has an excellent reputation as a highly valued care provider. The needs of our service users are at the heart of all we do.
You will work closely with our Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist, and staff to ensure the provision of high-quality, fresh, home-cooked meals daily. Building rapport with residents and their families to meet dietary needs is essential. Your responsibilities include:
* Preparing, cooking, and serving meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
* Providing a varied diet, catering for cultural preferences.
* Catering for celebrations and events in the Home.
* Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policy, using approved suppliers when the senior cook is unavailable.
* Maintaining accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP standards.
* Participating in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and Local Authorities.
* Maintaining high hygiene standards in the kitchen by following HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
* Supporting a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to Health & Safety policies.
