About the School

A welcoming, inclusive, and community-focused primary school in Northampton is seeking a passionate and nurturing Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. The school has a strong emphasis on early childhood development and is committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where young children can thrive from the very start of their education.

The Early Years provision is a key strength of the school and is led by experienced practitioners who are deeply committed to play-based learning, early language development, and inclusive practice. The Nursery setting is well-resourced, with engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that promote curiosity, independence, and positive social interaction.

Leadership is highly supportive, and Early Years staff are valued for their expertise and contribution to the wider school community. Collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement are central to the school’s ethos.

About the Role

As the Nursery Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering a rich, play-based curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will work with children aged 3–4, supporting their learning, wellbeing, and development during a crucial stage of early childhood.

You will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports children’s communication, social skills, emotional regulation, and early learning foundations. Working closely with teaching assistants, Early Years leaders, and parents, you will ensure that every child is supported to reach their full potential.

This role would suit a caring, reflective, and enthusiastic Early Years teacher with a strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice. Both experienced teachers and ECTs with a passion for Early Years are encouraged to apply.
