Job Description
Position: Facilities Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: £50-55,000
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team to manage day-to-day client activities for assigned property/facility.
* Act as the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and clients.
* Ensure service quality, maintenance, operations, and safety practices.
* Manage purchasing of materials, equipment, and supplies.
* Maintain accuracy of site budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee local site management and key M&E deliverables.
* Ensure statutory and PPM schedules are followed and reported.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to the team.
* Foster teamwork and performance excellence.
* Proactively engage stakeholders to meet client expectations.
* Manage vendor relationships and service delivery.
* Monitor financial operations to meet targets.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Implement quality improvement practices and operational standards.
* Manage risk, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
* Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
Requirements:
* Experience in facilities management or related field.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively.
* Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements.
* Proficient in PC literacy and system management.
* Experience with continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
* Familiarity with vendor management and technical property aspects.
* Budget management and financial analysis skills.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Passionate about quality service delivery.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and goal-oriented.
