Description Resilience Officer (NRF) x 2 | 8522 | 2 x Fixed Term Contracts until 31 August 2027 | 37 hours per week | £36,124 to £37,938 per annum (Scale I) | County Hall, Norwich Based at County Hall, Norfolk County Council and Scottow Enterprise Park. You will be required to work with NRF partner organisations at their offices throughout the County. The Norfolk Resilience Forum (NRF) is a multi-agency partnership who bring together a range of organisations to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies in Norfolk. We are seeking two dedicated Resilience Officers to help strengthen Norfolk's preparedness and response to emergencies. As a Resilience Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of resilience activities across Norfolk. Working closely with the Resilience Manager, and a wide range of partners including Local Authorities, Emergency Services, and the NHS, you'll help implement best practices in emergency planning, risk management and resilience development. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the resilience of Norfolk, with responsibilities spanning: • Multi-agency risk assessment, management and planning • Developing and delivering training and exercises for emergency responders • Developing and facilitating initiatives to increase community, business and climate resilience initiatives. We're seeking someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities and resilience, a good knowledge of the Civil Contingencies Act (CCA) 2004 and the role Local Resilience Forums play. You will have experience in working in multi-agency environments including the development or risk assessments and plans / frameworks.
