Job Description: We are looking for a Web Analytics Manager to join our eCommerce Data team. Based from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire with a competitive salary range and great benefits, such as private medical insurance, company bonus & car to name a few.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Web Analytics Platform Management, including implementation and optimisation of analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, Google Tag Manager, Contentsquare, Google Cloud, ObservePoint).
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, shape analytics projects, and create structured roadmaps.
* Build, develop and maintain data models; anticipate future data and technology needs and plan solutions accordingly.
* Transfer knowledge of digital data delivery processes to business requirements and team workload and priority management.
* Lead a team of analytics professionals (e.g., 7 team members) in web analytics data implementation and UX analytics including test and learn.
* Bridge between the analytics team and stakeholders (digital product, CRO, system development, external providers and agencies).
UX Analytics and Test & Learn
* Develop and own analysis of site user journeys to maximise sales impact and funnel progression.
* Define, measure, and communicate KPIs for digital product development.
* Collaborate with the Conversion Optimisation team to guide experiments and measure impact of changes.
* Deliver clear, actionable insights to improve website usability and customer engagement for diverse audiences.
About you
* Proven experience managing a team of web analytics professionals, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality outputs.
* In-depth knowledge of the digital data and product development cycle; experience in UX analytics and site conversion optimization.
* Strong data and business acumen with understanding of data architecture and analytics implementation.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
* Ability to simplify complex data and insights, highlight key findings, and answer the “so what?” question succinctly.
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
* Deep knowledge of web analytics and data platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare, Google Marketing, Azure, Databricks, Google Cloud).
