We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker in the Central Belt of Scotland to join a fantastic team in the Renfrewshire area. You will be responsible for Assessing people using Care at Home services to identify whether the care they receive needs to increase, decrease or stay the same.

Responsibilities:
7. Responsible for a caseload of more complex cases, providing advice to other social workers in relation to their cases.
8. Write high quality reports as required and also where required give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings.
9. Maintain and update case notes and other records to required ethical and quality standards.
10. Liaise with colleagues in own or other departments or external agencies to gather relevant information for assessment and care planning activities.
11. Participate in the planning / reviewing of cases.
Requirements:
12. Social work degree or equivalent.
13. Member of the PVG scheme.
14. Registered with Scotland Social Service Council (SSSC).
15. Knowledge of theory and practice of care assessment, planning and detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and its application.
16. Supervisory skills, as may supervise students, trainees, support staff and volunteers.
17. Analytic, planning and communication skills.
