Job Duties:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and informative chemistry lessons to students
2. Prepare and set tests, assignments, and examinations
3. Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
4. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
5. Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching chemistry at the secondary school level is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
6. Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for chemistry
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
9. Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant teaching certification
