About the Role
A leading global provider of safety and technical training is expanding its electrical services capability to support the renewable generation, transmission, distribution, and oil & gas sectors. This newly created role will spearhead the development and delivery of electrical training services across the UK, ensuring clients receive expert instruction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will lead the UK electrical training division, collaborating with internal stakeholders and international subject matter experts to design and deliver high-quality curriculum content—both in-person and online. This is a strategic leadership role with a strong commercial focus, requiring a blend of technical expertise, business development acumen, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and growth of electrical training services across the UK.
Coordinate with internal teams, trainers, and clients to deliver technical briefs, course design, compliance, and blended learning solutions.
Analyse market trends and recommend strategic improvements to training offerings.
Oversee regulatory and industry compliance across all electrical training programs.
Participate in client briefings to shape industry-relevant course content.
Collaborate with global teams to align UK training with international standards.
Develop and implement upskilling programs for training and sales staff.
Identify business opportunities to expand client base, enter new industries, and increase revenue.
Lead the selection and onboarding of electrical trainers in line with global standards.
Contribute to marketing plans and operational efficiency initiatives.Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
Excellent client engagement and communication skills.
Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and resources.
Knowledge of the UK/EU electrical supply industry.
Experience in consulting, project scoping, and pricing.
Proven track record in training management, ideally within electrical services.
Familiarity with quality-accredited organisations and compliance frameworks.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a training leadership role.
Right to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship or relocation provided).Desirable Qualifications:
Project Management certification.
Vocational or degree-level training qualifications.
Experience in curriculum development (classroom and online).
