Job Title: Year 3/4 Teaching AssistantLocation: Close to BattleContract: Long-term temporary, full-time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 15:30Start date: ASAP Duration: Until the end of the academic year Salary: £90 a dayYour new companyWe are seeking a committed, compassionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team, supporting our mixed Year 3/4 class on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on building positive relationships, brings patience and consistency to the classroom, and is confident supporting children with a range of needs.Your new role
* Work daily with our Year 3/4 class, supporting learning across the curriculum
* Provide additional guidance to several children who are vulnerable and may require help with emotional regulation and behaviour
* Work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to create a calm, nurturing and structured learning environment
* Support small-group and 1:1 activities as needed
* Contribute to the wellbeing, safety and progress of all pupils
What you'll need to succeedWe are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with primary-aged children
* Is confident supporting pupils with social, emotional or behavioural needs
* Brings empathy, resilience and a positive, child-centred approach
* Can commit to working every day until the end of the academic year
* Is ready to start as soon as possible
