Job Description
Teledyne has a defined strategy to achieve growth both organically and through acquisition. In this environment, the role of the FP&A team becomes increasingly critical in evaluating and analysing a company’s financial performance to make informed business decisions.
The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for detailed balance sheet and cash flow budgeting/forecasting, financial modelling, and strategic analysis to drive business performance and decision-making.
Main Accountabilities
1. Develop and maintain a robust multi-currency balance sheet forecast model to help manage currency exposure using data analysis and trends.
2. Drive accurate net and free cash flow forecasting across multiple entities within 95% accuracy.
3. Business partner with the treasury team and business units.
4. Manage the group's working capital budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements alongside the business units.
5. Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
6. Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
7. Support ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling.
8. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems and reports.
Essential Experience & Skills
1. 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
2. Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA).
3. Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, multi-entity cash flow, and balance sheet forecasting.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong communication skills, working with different levels across the organization.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Proactive mindset, with a strong aptitude to follow and improve existing processes.
9. Comfortable working with large datasets and complex financial structures.
