Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant (Outdoor Learning)

In addition to supporting in classroom based learning this role will also be a specialist role focussing on supporting pupils in outdoor learning.
This will suit candidates with a passion, skills and experience in one or more of the following areas: -
Forest School, Beach School, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Fishing

We are delighted that Alternative Learning Trust, have two newly established provisions in the Isle of Sheppey. We are operating two schools within one site community and are so excited about the wealth of experience and expertise in the building to serve our community effectively.

This is a term time only - permanent position with a National NJC pay grade Sc5 scale point 11-15, £28,142 – £30,024 (pro rata £24,207 - £25,826) depending on experience

14. Planning, instructing and/or assessing Duke of Edinburgh’s Programmes
15. Experience hiking and camping
16. Experience as a forest school practitioner
17. Experience supporting Scout groups
18. Experience supporting young people in outdoor learning experiences
