Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support local primary schools in the Totton area.
About the Role
As an HLTA, you will play an important part in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs, you will provide support to pupils in small groups, whole-class settings, and on a 1:1 basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence
* Lead targeted small group interventions across core subjects
* Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs, including SEN
* Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment alongside teaching staff

* HLTA Level 4 qualification
* Confidence in leading whole-class learning when required
* Strong behaviour management and effective communication skills
* A proactive, positive attitude and genuine passion for education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
