Duties
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service to all guests
* Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
* Assist with food preparation and presentation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards
* Upsell menu items to maximise sales and enhance guest satisfaction
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, counters, and bar stations
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, including processing payments and giving change
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety procedures at all times
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
* Provide guest support by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations based on preferences
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
* Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
* Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
* A friendly, professional attitude with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding guest service
* Ability to work flexibly during busy periods, including evenings and weekends if required
