Working within a long-standing friendly team, you will be required to co-ordinate a range of project orders from design to manufacture which will require a lot of plate spinning, however the role is very rewarding and the Company offer some fantastic benefits and truly looks after their staff. The position will suit someone that is comfortable reading and working with complex CAD drawings, therefore previous Technical / Engineering experience is required. Technical Co-ordinator Job Details & Benefits; £30,000-£31,000 per annum 39.5 hour contract per week 3pm finish on Friday Long Service Award Birthday gift and days holiday on your birthday 33 days holiday per year including bank holidays pro rata Pension scheme Salary sacrifice and contributions at a higher % than statutory Additional family friendly benefits relating to maternity, paternity etc Staff discount on products Staff social calendar every year with business contributions to xmas parties, fun themed days and Strong focus on staff wellbeing Cycle to work scheme Jury Service- Full pay Excellent canteen facility with free tea & coffee Free parking Technical Co-ordinator Job Duties; To co-ordinate industrial Project orders from receipt through the design stage, into manufacture and ready for delivery to site with handover to the installation team Raise and issue design drawings in AutoCAD, confirming what you are supplying and what site requirements are to be supplied by others To handle key account orders for a large supermarket chain Chasing for drawing approval once drawings have been issued Attending Pre-Lets with the Sales Team at point of order usually via teams Attending design team meetings with customers and other trades Attending Client and project meetings when applicable off site, collecting required information to progress design (access to Pool car for site visits) Raise factory orders to meet agreed installation dates utilising in house software Liaising with the installation team to coordinate deliveries from the factory to site ready for installation Updating PMD Providing excellent customer care at all time Monitor own workload and prioritise own time Technical Co-ordinator Person Specification; A technical background is required Self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work alone and also as a team A strong, clear communicator both verbally and electronically Organised yet flexible with an ability to adapt to changes in workload Able to demonstrate good working IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel essential) with the ability to learn in house systems Will ideally have key skills in the areas of planning and scheduling Knowledge of AS400 would be an advantageous but not essential as training will be given Knowledge of CAD would be an advantageous but not essential as training will be given Full Driving Licence (Access to Pool Car) If you are interested in the above role of Technical Co-ordinator, then please apply by sending your CV to T&K Associates today.
