Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor – Special Works (Fire Safety & Remediation)
Location: Site visits around Bristol - Hybrid Working
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential developer specialising in Special Works projects focused on fire safety remediation. You will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of legacy residential developments, ensuring compliance with the latest government fire safety legislation, including remediation of cladding, compartmentation, fire stopping, and other critical life-safety works.
Key Responsibilities
1. Take full commercial responsibility for a portfolio of fire safety upgrade and remediation projects across residential schemes.
2. Work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and specialist contractors to scope, procure, and deliver remedial works to current Building Safety and Fire Safety Act standards.
3. Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans from inception through to final account.
4. Provide robust commercial reporting and risk analysis to internal stakeholders and project teams.
