£267-£300 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions is currently recruiting for a longer-term SEND teaching assistant for a primary school in Urmston. This is a part-time role, 3 days a week – and could become permanent for the right candidate.
The School:
1. Mainstream primary school based in Trafford
2. Catering for learners 3-11, strong senior leaders have created an inclusive environment for all their students
3. The school enjoys a shared vision where all children can flourish, academically and personally
The Role:
4. 1:1 support role supporting a KS1 pupil with ADHD & Complex Needs – in and around the classroom.
5. Work closely with SENCo and Class Teacher to ensure a tailored approach to the pupils needs
6. Deliver targeted intervention for Maths and English
The Candidate:
7. Holding a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
8. Experience working with children with SEND needs in a classroom setting is preferred; however, we also welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in care, support work, sports coaching, or psychology.
