Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, 01:30am - 06:00am starts Pay Rate: £14.60 - £15.61 per hour Location: Carlisle, CA6 Job Type: Ongoing The role: · Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance · Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.. Some deliveries/ returns from addresses · Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. · Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. · Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: · Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). · Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. · No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). · Full understanding of WTD legislation. · Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. · Excellent communication skills. · A safety-first mindset.
