About the Role: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, following pre-set schemes of work or departmental planning. You will ensure students remain engaged, challenged and supported in their learning while maintaining strong classroom management. Responsibilities: Deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan and adapt lessons where required to meet student needs Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Assess and monitor student progress Maintain a positive and focused learning environment Support students in developing subject knowledge and understanding Work collaboratively with departmental staff when needed Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable) Strong subject knowledge in Science Experience teaching or supporting learning in secondary schools Confident classroom and behaviour management skills Professional, adaptable and reliable approach Ability to engage and motivate students effectively This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher in Barnsley to work flexibly across supportive secondary school settings while making a real impact on student progress.
