We are looking for a part-time administrator to join our breast screening admin team, based in Florence Portal House at RHCH.
Main duties of the job
We’re seeking an individual with strong communication skills to provide reception cover across a range of clinics. The role involves managing appointment changes, processing results, and ensuring all essential tasks are completed. You will play a vital role in supporting the screening pathway and delivering a smooth patient experience.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Provide reception services for clients, relatives and hospital staff during screening, assessment, and outpatient clinics. Sign clients in on the appropriate IT systems, fill in the required paperwork always adhering to the departmental standards and referring complex queries to the programme manager.
Book and rearrange appointments on NBSS via telephone and email requests.
Answer the telephone in a timely manner dealing tactfully, sensitivity and confidentially with all enquiries.
Become familiar and competent on IT systems used in the breast screening department, including NBSS, BS Select, PACS and CRIS.
Prepare paperwork for screening and assessment clinics, ensuring all the relevant information is available for clinical staff.
Enter normal screening results in a timely manner, ensuring client and GP letters are printed, counted and recorded before sending.
