Our client are looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a period of 12-14 months to cover maternity leave. The position will be offered on a fixed term contract and will be a fully remote requirement.

The salary on offer is £40,000 per annum plus benefits which includes 35 days holiday, pension match scheme, private medical and healthcare options and a completion bonus.
The Management Accountant will report directly to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for:
* Overseeing a team of 2
* Owning the monthly close process including production of financial statements
* Complete monthly financial analysis and commentary
* Support with annual close including liaising with auditors
* Produce financial insights for operational heads
* Manage company expenses
* Ensure compliance to finance and accounting regulations in the UK
To be considered for the position, applicants will:
* Be a finalist or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
* Have experience of owning the full accounting cycle including monthly close and financial statement production
* Have proven and demonstrable experience of liaising with internal and external stakeholders
* Ideally have experience in a fully remote position, although this isn't essential
* Be able to demonstrate previous management experience
* Understand that this is a 12-14 month fixed term contract opportunity
