The postholder will contribute to one of the UK’s largest regeneration programmes by assisting in the deliver of financial performance including project financial controls and financial modelling. Main Responsibilities Provide professional financial advice and financial modelling to support the development of multi-year budgets, financial plans, project plans and the review of policies and strategies relating to specific projects, schemes, and capital expenditure. Develop measures to assess risk within projects or budgets of high demand and cost volatility or where significant third-party funding is provided. Monitor income, expenditure and outturn predictions, identifying and communicating unexpected budget variances, budget volatility and monitoring the validity of budget management decisions against accountancy rules and regulations.
