About You
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in shaping the commercial success of our developments by delivering high-quality, timely, and accurate cost appraisals. From land acquisition through to planning, your work will guide critical investment decisions and directly influence project viability and profitability.
Drawing on your solid estimating skills and practical surveying experience, you will prepare detailed Bidcon estimates, assess abnormal costs, maintain cost libraries, and contribute to value engineering initiatives. Your expertise will ensure that our projects are not only commercially sound but also aligned with the latest construction methods, market rates, and strategic frameworks.
We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional with strong technical foundations and real-world industry experience. You will be confident navigating live data, interpreting complex project details, and communicating insights clearly across departments.

Your Attributes
You will bring:
* Technical Expertise - Proficient in estimating software (Bidcon, Datum, Fusion); deep understanding of construction methods, cost structures, and frameworks; skilled in maintaining and updating cost libraries and rate databases
* Analytical Thinking - Strong cost analysis and value engineering capabilities; ability to identify abnormal costs and propose bespoke contingencies; continuous focus on cost control and margin improvement
* Organised & Methodical - Excellent file and data management for audit-ready records; skilled in managing estimates by region, stage, and site and capable of producing timely estimates at key development milestones
* Collaborative & Communicative – experience liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and commercial teams; effective at stakeholder engagement and interdepartmental coordination
* Adaptable & Agile - Comfortable with hybrid working and national collaboration; thrives in a flexible, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and problem-solver with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
