We're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face of Foxes.
Your Role
As Administration Assistant / Receptionist, you'll play a key role in keeping the college running smoothly. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors and calls, while also supporting a wide range of administrative tasks across the site.
You'll work closely with the wider admin team and Senior Leadership Team to provide a high-quality, professional and efficient service across Aurora Foxes.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing a warm, professional and welcoming reception for all visitors to Foxes, ensuring safeguarding and sign-in procedures are followed
Answering and managing phone calls and emails, ensuring messages are passed on accurately and promptly
Supporting day-to-day administration tasks including filing, data entry, diary management and preparing documents
Managing incoming deliveries and maintaining stock levels for stationery and office supplies
Assisting with bookings such as travel and accommodation, following internal processes
Supporting internal communications and events at Foxes, including newsletters, marketing activities and events
Working closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth and professional service across Foxes
About You
We're looking for someone who is approachable, organised and takes pride in delivering a great service, with the ability to manage a varied workload.
You will have:
Previous experience in a reception or administration role
A friendly and professional manner, with strong communication skills
Good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn new systems
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
A good level of numeracy and literacy (minimum Level 2 English and Maths)
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A discreet and reliable approach, with an understanding of confidentiality
Experience working with young people or vulnerable adults (desirable)
