Key Responsibilities:
* Design, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure and storage solutions.
* Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
* Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability by monitoring key service health metrics.
* Manage virtualization environments and containerized platforms for optimized workload deployment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant IT operations.
* Perform system hardening and encryption in accordance with security best practices.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
* Utilize log ingestion and monitoring tools to analyze and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
* Document configurations, procedures, and technical processes in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Advanced understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu / CentOS / RHEL).
* Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
* Expertise in configuration management tools: Puppet and Ansible.
* Proficient in orchestration tools such as Terraform.
* Familiarity with DCIM/IPAM tools (e.g., NetBox).
* Log ingestion experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat, Syslog, and Graylog.
* Hands-on experience with containerization platforms: Docker and Kubernetes.
* Virtualization experience with VMware 7.x environments.
* Working knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS.
* Proficiency in databases: PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
* Experience with web/application servers such as Apache or NGINX, and WSGI.
* In-depth understanding of service health metrics and monitoring systems.
* Experience in secure infrastructure deployment and system hardening practices.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):
* Familiarity with SIEM solutions and security event correlation.
* Experience with data replication, backup, and recovery strategies.
* Palo Alto Firewall administration experience.
* Scripting proficiency with Bash and Python.
