Role Overview:
Being part of the store’s Junior Management team, you will provide managerial support and help maintain and improve customer service levels throughout your section. You will assist in supervising staff while maintaining standards on the shop floor and handle certain managerial processes as instructed by Store Management.
This is a part-time role.
Contracted hours - 36
Customer Service
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Handle customer complaints and inquiries, aiming for the best outcomes.
* Ensure sales staff personal appearance aligns with company guidelines.
* Understand the Customer Service measuring programme.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets where possible.
* Monitor staff service levels to maximize store sales.
* Utilize in-store devices to offer the full product range to customers.
* Use reports to assist in product placement of key lines.
* Engage and motivate customers using visual techniques.
* Maintain standards on the sales floor.
* Keep stock clean and presentable.
* Retail management experience is advantageous.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* IT skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Training & Development
* Encourage personal progression within the store.
* Assist with induction and training of new staff.
* Support the development of existing staff, ensuring completion of relevant E-Assessments.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed
* Retail supervisor experience is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills.
* IT skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
