Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organisation. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software.

Responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors.

- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements to support management decision-making.

- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure compliance with internal policies.

- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.

- Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Skills

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is essential.

- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
