We are recruiting an enthusiastic Bilingual (French-English) teaching assistant to join our experienced team at L’Ecole Francaise de Bristol/Bristol French School, on Fridays
A very high standard of French is essential to work in our classes for bilingual pupils in Years 4 to 6: French immersion classes.
L’Ecole Française de Bristol (Est. 1980) is a non-profit association (registered charity 900410).

About the Role:
Assisting our experienced teachers in two classes (time split during the day).
Supporting teaching and ensuring our pupils' welfare needs are met, in collaboration with the class teacher.
Key Information
6. Term-time only to start as soon as possible
7. Fixed-term contract until 18 July 2026
8. 1 days per week on Fridays 7.45 am to 5.45 pm (We are not able to offer shorter hours)
9. 0.50-hour lunch break
10. £13.00 per hour (up to £13.90 for qualified Early Years Educator/HLTA or equivalent)
11. 5.6 weeks annual paid leave per annum, pro rata for less than a year
12. 10% off fees for your children and free primary classes' wraparound care for your children
13. Paid training prior to starting
