Job Title: Quality Improvement Coach
Location: Remote based role
Hours: 36.5 per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £34,000.00
About the role
We are looking for a Quality Improvement Coach to drive outstanding quality and continuous improvement across their designated sector of expertise. This is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the learner experience, supporting Personal Tutors, and embedding high standards of teaching, learning and assessment throughout the learner journey.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to monitor performance, provide practical solutions, and champion innovation and best practice.
Key responsibilities
As a Quality Improvement Coach, you will:
* Conduct Learner Experience Reviews (LERs) with allocated Personal Tutors (PTs)
* Carry out curriculum deep dives aligned to the Education Inspection Framework (EIF), providing feedback and targeted support
* Improve the quality of teaching and learning through:
* Observations and feedback
* 1:1 coaching and support
* Delivery of CPD sessions
* Promoting a culture of shared best practice
* Work closely with Operations Managers to ensure actions from LERs and deep dives are reviewed and completed
* Design and deliver regular CPD and training sessions, including qualifications such as TAQA and AET where required
* Conduct formative and summative sampling of learner portfolios
* Facilitate standardisation meetings to ensure consistency of delivery and assessment practice
Knowledge and experience
You will have:
* Experience working within, or a strong understanding of, the apprenticeships / further education sector
* Proven experience of using quality improvement methodologies to enhance the learner experience
* Vocational expertise and competence within your chosen sector
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework (EIF)
* Experience building positive relationships and developing others
* A sound understanding of GDPR and confidentiality requirements
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office and quality systems
* Flexibility to travel nationally when required
* Level 4/5 qualification in Residential Childcare
* Teaching qualification
* Assessor and IQA qualification
