Location Close to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Working hours Monday to Thursday Full time hours
Capacity of role Temporary to permanent position
Pay Rate up to £18.50 per hour
Our client is a leading sub contractor and looking to expand within their workshop with the additional of a welder to support their manufacturing function.
Applicants will need to have previous experience within a similar role and will need own transport due to the location of the premise.
Main duties will include
Reading technical drawings
Welding on mild steel
Perform basic repairs on welding/fabrication equipment
Perform welding operations using various techniques
Prepare metal materials for fabrication and welding
Using a variety of hand and power tools to finish product range
Candidate attributes
? Ability to weld using MIG practises
? Fabrication experience
? Own transport is essential due to the location of the premises
? Good communication skills
