Engaging and Supportive English Tutors Required in the Warrington Area
Here at TP Tutors (Part of Teaching Personnel), we believe in every child's right to a quality education. We are seeking engaging and supportive English Tutors to match with students in the Warrington area.
Many students referred to us have SEN (Special Education Needs)/SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) requirements. We need patient and understanding educators ready to empower and inspire learners to achieve their goals.
The Role:
* Delivering 1:1 tuition sessions both in person and via our virtual portal.
* Planning suitable sessions to support students towards their goals.
* Assessing and tracking student progress.
* Communicating openly with guardians and case workers to ensure students receive the best support.
Our Ideal Tutor:
* Experience working with children or young people.
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions across core and cross-curricular topics.
* Proactive and driven to help pupils catch up academically.
* Awareness and implementation of behaviour management strategies.
* Organized and thorough, ensuring pupils meet their learning objectives.
* A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles.
* Payment is handled in-house, with no fees from umbrella companies.
* Competitive pay rates.
* 13 weeks off per year.
* Opportunities for further development through CPD.
Hours are mainly during term time between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, with flexibility to accommodate current commitments.
This role may particularly suit individuals from education or social care backgrounds.
Applicants will be subject to background checks and require a current DBS certificate (with update service registration). Teaching Personnel can support your application if needed.

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
