Waking Night Children’s Support Worker – Children’s Residential Homes Job Title: Children's Support Worker Job Type: Temporary Ongoing Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Start Date: ASAP Days and hours of work:39 Hours per week - Monday-Sunday ARC is recruiting on behalf of our client for Children's Support Workers within a local children’s home that provides a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people with social, emotional, mental health and behaviour difficulties. We are looking for full time experienced individuals that can showcase resilience and will be able to manage challenging behaviour in a caring and considered manner and who want to make a positive impact and be part of the brilliant staff team. The role We are seeking dynamic and eager individuals to help support and nurture the children cared for. You will need to be considerate, adaptable and resilient where no two days will be the same. At the heart of what you do is the ethos that children and young people feel safe, protected, and loved. Monitor and maintain the safety of the home overnight, supported with a sleep-in member of staff, proactively support the children overnight when required, maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the home. Support in any behaviour management overnight and liaise with the on-call manager as required and provide clear handovers to the team in the morning for any follow up support required.
