This role is a nightshift Housing Assistant working in our Oban Solas service, with a 3‑week rota that includes some weekend work.

About You
* Genuine passion for helping people
* At least 1 year of experience working with vulnerable people and challenging behaviour (personal, voluntary or professional)
* Commitment to the Scottish Social Services Council code of practice, National Care Standards, Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and Associates policies and procedures
* Empathetic ability to relate to people and recognise their right to choice and independence
* Flexibility to work as a lone worker
* Competent use of Microsoft or equivalent applications
* Ideally hold an SVQ Level 2 or above and willing to work towards an SVQ 3
* Will register with the Scottish Social Services Council within 3 months of start date and maintain professional learning
