Science Teacher Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality science instruction, utilising a range of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Assess, record, and report on the development and progress of pupils. Identifying and addressing the diverse learning needs of students by providing extra support or enrichment opportunities. Collaborating with other science teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects. Create an inclusive learning environment that supports all learners, including those with SEND. Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement. Science Teacher Requirements: PGCE in Secondary Science with QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification. Biology, Physics and Chemistry teaching experience in the last 2 years is preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills Be committed to child protection, safeguarding and pupil welfare. Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
