Key Account Manager
On behalf of our client, a lifestyle branded company, we are seeking an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to oversee and develop major retail partnerships across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts such as Asos, Next, TJX and M&M, driving sales growth, and strengthening brand presence through effective relationship management, product development and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
* Establish and grow relationships with key UK retail partners
* Build long‑term partnerships to enhance brand visibility and performance in competitive markets
* Maintain regular trade meetings and communication with buyers to review performance, identify opportunities and address challenges
* Drive sales performance to achieve monthly and seasonal targets
* Develop and implement growth strategies
* Monitor sell‑through and report on key performance indicators to inform strategic decisions
* Manage seasonal budgets, ensuring profitability through cost‑effective and commercially sound strategies
* Lead product development initiatives in collaboration with design and production teams
* Align collections with market trends, consumer demand and retailer requirements
* Oversee the critical path for sales flow
* Liaise closely with overseas teams regarding lead times, MOQs and shipping constraints
Skills and Experience
* Prospected and secured new accounts
* Handled budgets, proposals, orders and account administration
* Proven success in managing major retail or ecommerce accounts
* Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and results‑oriented mindset
