Farrow and Ball - Maintenance Engineer, Wimborne (40 hours per week)
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team based at our manufacturing site in Wimborne, Dorset. The role is permanent and full time, whilst most hours will be between 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday there may be the odd occassions where you will be required to work outside of these.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our high-performing team. You’ll play a key role in keeping our production equipment running smoothly, responding to breakdowns, and driving continuous improvement across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
What we expect from you as a Maintenance Engineer.
* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out scheduled repairs and planned maintenance
* Execute improvement works aligned with business needs and production schedules
* Prioritise tasks effectively, balancing reactive and proactive maintenance
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels, flagging shortages as needed
* Use Agility CMMS to log accurate asset history and maintenance records
* Collaborate with the wider team to meet and exceed KPI targets
* Ensure all production machinery is kept in optimal working condition
* Identify faults and suggest improvements to enhance equipment reliability
* Deliver a consistently high level of service to internal stakeholders
* Review and refine preventative maintenance schedules based on hands-on experience
* Uphold all health and safety standards and company procedures
Key Attributes & Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
* Time-served Electrician with a proven track record in fault diagnosis and repair
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills and solid mechanical aptitude
* Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities
* Clear communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
* Personally accountable, cooperative, and committed to excellence
