We are partnering with a large, values-led organisation operating across multiple regions in England to recruit a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting statutory reporting, strengthening financial controls, and ensuring tax compliance across the group. You will also contribute to ongoing improvements to systems and processes, helping the organisation maintain high standards of financial governance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and enhance balance sheet controls across the group
* Support the preparation of statutory accounts within a group structure
* Assist with consolidation processes and intercompany reconciliations
* Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance
* Provide accounting guidance on new projects and commercial initiatives
* Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls
* Contribute to finance transformation and improvement projects
* Work collaboratively with operational and non-finance teams to provide clear financial insight
