Key Responsibilities
* Support individuals with daily tasks including personal hygiene, dressing, and meals.
* Assist with medication, appointments, and care planning under supervision.
* Promote independence, social inclusion, and choice in daily activities.
* Record and report changes in client wellbeing accurately.
* Encourage and facilitate engagement in hobbies, learning, or community activities.
* Maintain professional standards in safeguarding, dignity, and confidentiality.
Essential Requirements
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Basic literacy and numeracy.
* PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme registration.
* Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and nights.
Desirable
* SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
* Previous experience in a care or support role.
