Overview
Hales group are recruiting a Counter / Kitchen Assistant to support with food preparation, kitchen support, cleaning and serving customers and completing stock takes for a training provider on a temporary basis to cover staff sickness.
To be considered for this position you must be available to start on 2 September 2025.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide friendly and efficient counter service during meal times
* Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen support
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across service areas
* Support stock rotation and simple food handling tasks
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery
To be considered for the role
* Punctual, professional, and customer-focused
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Certificate in Food Hygiene is desirable
* Enhanced DBS Check (issued within the last 12 months or registered on the Update Service)
Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk
Hours: 07 00pm, 30 hrs P/W, 1 hour break her day
ROTA: Monday to Friday
PAY: £12.42 per hour
DURATION: Temporary initially for 3 months
