Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our products through precise inspection and analysis. The NDT Technician will be responsible for conducting various non-destructive testing methods to identify flaws or defects without compromising the material's usability, supporting our organisation's standards for safety and excellence.

Duties

* Perform a range of nondestructive testing techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on materials and components.
* Analyse test results accurately to determine the presence of flaws or irregularities that could compromise structural integrity or safety.
* Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test procedures, and findings in accordance with company protocols and industry standards.
* Calibrate testing equipment regularly to ensure precision and reliability during inspections.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test data and recommend appropriate actions or repairs.
* Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and organisational policies.
* Assist in developing and updating testing procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

* Proven experience in nondestructive testing within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and inspection techniques.
* Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
* Relevant certifications such as ASNT Level II or III, or equivalent recognised qualifications, are highly desirable.
* Attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain thorough documentation of all inspections performed.
* Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report findings clearly.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict safety protocols. This role is ideal for dedicated professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in their work.
