Job Title: School IT Technician Location: Bath Contract Type: Full time via Monarch Education (08:00 - 16:30) Start Date: September 2025 About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technician to join our dedicated team at Monarch Education. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the digital infrastructure of a vibrant school in Bath. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, providing technical support to staff and students, and helping to maintain a safe and secure digital learning space. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Maintain and troubleshoot classroom technology including PCs, laptops, interactive whiteboards, and printers. Assist in the setup and configuration of new equipment. Monitor and maintain the school's IT network and servers. Ensure data security and support regular backups. Support staff and students with IT-related queries in a friendly and professional manner. Liaise with external IT support providers when necessary. Keep accurate records of IT assets and maintenance logs. Requirements: Previous experience in an IT support role, ideally within an educational setting. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users. A proactive and flexible approach to work.
