Due to continued growth and success, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at our Parkers Worthing Branch The Role As Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day management of the branch. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you’ll help lead the team, improve customer experience, and drive sales and profitability while ensuring smooth and efficient branch operations. This is a hands‑on role that combines leadership, customer service, sales, and operational responsibility. Key Responsibilities Supporting customers at the trade counter and over the phone Assisting with loading and general branch support when required Working alongside the Branch Manager on branch development and customer service Supervising and motivating a team of colleagues Supporting and delivering the branch sales plan Managing stock replenishment and maintaining appropriate stock levels Ensuring safe, efficient daily operations and H&S compliance Ensuring the best possible customer experience at all times Providing cover for the Branch Manager when required Carrying out additional duties as required to support the branch ✅ What We’re Looking For Experience in a similar supervisory or management role Strong customer‑focused mindset Excellent organisation and administration skills Confident communicator at all levels Strong sales awareness and negotiation skills Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships Approachable, professional, and team‑focused leadership style ⏰ Working Hours Week 1: Monday–Friday 07:00–17:00 Week 2: Monday–Friday 07:00–17:00 Saturday 08:00–12:00 What We Offer At IBMG, we value our people and provide a supportive environment where you can grow and progress your career.
