The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day.
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring clear and accurate responses.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical dispensary tasks, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards in Boots.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have.
An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or progress towards an Mpharm course. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required; if not completed, training will be supported within 6 months.
Opportunities to achieve NVQ Level 3 and register with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician are available, potentially leading to roles like Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT). Your pay and benefits will reflect your professional development.
