Responsibilities of the Senior Hire Controller:
* Build important relationships with internal and external clients.
* Hire, rehire, and source equipment from third-party suppliers.
* Manage a fast-paced and busy hire desk as the Plant Hire Manager.
* Liaise with colleagues, other depots, and procurement teams to ensure equipment is delivered on time.
* Resolve queries or claims professionally, ensuring all paperwork is completed and up to date.
* Use CRM systems such as Syrinx, Insphire, or similar.
The Senior Hire Controller may have experience in plant hire, specialist equipment hire industries, or similar fields.
Relevant previous roles include hire desk controller, hire desk advisor, rental manager, hire negotiator, hire coordinator, Senior Hire Controller, Branch Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, Plant Manager, Plant Hire Manager, Senior Hire Desk Coordinator, Rental Coordinator, Plant Controller, Plant Coordinator, or other similar positions.
