Location: Scott House, Huntingdon, Cambridge Office Requirement: 2 days per week About the Role The UASC service within Cambridgeshire County Council provides specialist support to children and young people who arrive in the UK without a parent or guardian and are seeking asylum.

The team ensures these vulnerable young people are safeguarded, assessed, and cared for in line with statutory responsibilities.
The service works closely with multi-agency partners, including the Home Office and legal representatives, to ensure that every childs voice is heard and their rights are upheld, while helping them integrate into the community and achieve positive outcomes.
What youll do: Manage a diverse caseload within the UASC team.
Complete Age Assessments and Brief Enquiries.
Handle Duty work and collaborate with multi-agency partners.
Attend team meetings and contribute to service development.
Fulfil statutory duties and maintain accurate documentation.
Report directly to the Team Manager. xjlbheb
Arrange and facilitate Home Office and Solicitor appointments.
