A leading multi-product retailer are looking for a talented Merchandise Planner to join their dynamic non-food retail team and play a pivotal role in delivering profitable growth. This is a hybrid role consisting of 3 days in the office & 2 from home. As a Merchandise Planner, you will own the planning and trading of your categories, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. Working closely with Buying, Supply Chain, and Store Operations, you’ll turn insight into action and strategy into results. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver seasonal sales, stock, and margin plans - Analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities, and reforecast accordingly - Optimise stock levels and availability across stores and online - Lead intake planning and manage OTB (Open to Buy) - Drive markdown and promotional strategies to maximise sell-through - Present clear, data-led recommendations to senior stakeholders Requirements: - Previous experience in merchandise planning within a non-food retail environment - Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical skills - Advanced Excel skills (experience with planning systems advantageous) - Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge - Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive The salary is paying up to £38,000 10% performance bonus.
