Due to the continued growth of King and Moffatt Building Services, we are now looking to add to our Design team based in our Edinburgh office.
What you would do:
* Modeling, drawing, and coordinating mechanical and electrical designs to ensure projects can be constructed with minimal rework once the site team begins work.
* Attending weekly internal model and design team meetings and project BIM meetings with main contractors.
* Ensuring the latest models, drawings, and designs from all stakeholders are used, and notifying engineers and the site team of any changes.
* Generating Revit models from senior engineers' outputs (sketches, HevaComp, Cypam, DIALux, Relux).
* Creating Revit families where manufacturer files are unavailable.
* Modeling skids and modules for offsite manufacturing and delivery.
* Managing clash detection and resolution between disciplines.
* Maintaining ACC/BIM360 cloud models and reporting.
* Providing technical assistance to the project team as needed.
* Integrating Cloud Point Surveys.
* Ensuring compliance with all project BIM documentation.
* Adhering to all EHSQ policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* Previous Revit MEP experience in construction or building services.
* Relevant qualification in BIM, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering is beneficial.
* Effective communication skills, both in person and via email.
