About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher or Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic secondary school based in the Walsall area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about education and eager to make a positive impact on students’ learning and development.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to secondary school students.
* Support students in developing a strong understanding of key scientific concepts.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
* Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
* Strong subject knowledge and experience in Chemistry within a secondary school setting.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Strong command of written and spoken English.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people.
* QTS is desirable but not essential – experienced cover supervisors or unqualified teachers with a strong Chemistry background are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
