Job Opportunity: Sales Team Lead
Our client is an award-winning defence company based in Chelmsford, recognized as a leading provider of intelligence, insight, and debate serving the global defence community. They are seeking a Sales Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage your own sales campaign, demonstrating leadership, best practices, and achieving individual targets.
2. Drive team sales performance to meet campaign targets.
3. Ensure activity rates and KPIs are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
4. Conduct weekly team reviews and one-on-one coaching sessions.
5. Maintain accurate reports and update management regularly.
6. Identify new lead sources and collaborate with marketing to generate inbound flows.
7. Work with Event Directors to plan sales campaigns.
8. Liaise with the conference production team to brief delegates and update on event programmes.
9. Assist the COO in hiring additional team members.
10. Coordinate with the Head of Training to plan sessions and identify skill gaps.
Knowledge & Experience:
* Interest in armed services and the defence sector.
* Willingness to travel for conferences, social events, and meetings.
* Call centre experience is advantageous.
* Previous sales/business development experience with KPIs.
