Facilities Officer Responsibilities

* Based in Ipswich, with ownershipof facilitiesacrossfouroffices.
* Supporting offices in Ipswich, Chelmsford,Cambridge and Norwich.
* ReporttotheSeniorEstatesManager.
* Supportthedeliveryofbuildingservices,maintenance,compliance,andfacilitiesoperations.
* Workingcloselywithstaff,subcontractors,andsuppliers.
* Ensuretheestateissafe,compliant,andwell-maintained.
* Providingaresponsive,high-qualityservicethatmeetsallcontractualSLAsandKPIs.
* Maintainbuildingsinlinewithmaintenanceschedules,legalcompliance,andinternalpolicies.
* Oversee contractorsacrosshardandsoftservicedisciplines.
* Overseeandensurehealth&safetyandstatutorycompliance.
* Carryoutplannedandreactivemaintenancetasks.
* Supportfrontofhouse,postroom,andreprographicsfunctionswhenrequired.
* Completedeliveriesandcollectionsbetween sitesusingthecompanyvan.
* Deliveries and collection primarily in Norwich,Ipswich,andCambridge.
* Assistwithrecordsmanagementsupport.
* WorkcloselywiththeOperationsteam.
* ProvidecoverforSeniorEstatesOfficersduringabsences.
* Playahands-onroleinensuringthesmoothday-to-dayrunningoftheworkplaces.

Facilities Officer Requirements

* Strongfacilities experienceacrosshardandsoftservices.
* To be "hands on" in a "doing" role.
* FullUKdrivinglicenceasfrequenttravelisrequired.
* M&Eknowledgeandhands-onmaintenancecapability.
* Goodworkingknowledgeofhealth&safetyregulations.
* Confidentcommunicator.
* ITliterate,MSOffice,email,anddatabases.
* Well-organised,proactive,andcapableofmanagingabroadremitacrossmultiplesites.
* Health&Safetytraining(IOSH)ispreferred,butnotessential.
* FireMarshallispreferred,butnotessential.
* FirstAidqualificationispreferred,butnotessential.
* Experienceinprofessionalservicesenvironmentsispreferred,butnotessential.
